This place is great. A full meal for $20! Soup, salad, entree, drink, and dessert!! My waitress, Gianna, was delightful and attentive. I asked a couple questions and she was great. I wish I had taken a picture of the sumptuous navy bean soup or the meringue that stood 5 inches on the lemon meringue pie! I will be back, pictures next time!

This restaurant is a place my family and I go to regularly. The staff is all super friendly and on top of things. I rarely ever have to ask for a refill on my drink or extra napkins. The bread basket is always fresh and filled with favorites. I love the spinach pie dinner you get a side which I always choose French fries they are always so warm and delicious never soggy. Then you get a choice of soup or salad and dessert which I always get my dessert to go because I'm so full! Also the desserts here ain't small you can get cake or pie! I love the cheesecake and Black Forest cake. If you can't tell I'm obsessed with this place.

Came here for a breakfast business meeting to get a property listed for a new client. Dappers is a fantastic place for that, or just to come and enjoy a great meal. I ordered the Denver omelette . Cooked to perfection and full of flavor. It also came with hash browns that were crispy and delicious. Coffee was rich and bold and I never had to worry about running out as my waitress kept my cup full. I have been here before for take out soup to go and I have never been disappointed. Great for all ages and group sizes.

Over the 20+ years that I have lived here in Addison, this has been my local American fare restaurant. This place has been here for a long time. It's a stand alone building with its own parking lot. When you go inside you first see the register and two long glass cases of assorted whole fruit filled sugar free pies, to regular pies, to double, triple layer cakes like carrots cake, chocolate, to thick cheese cakes and other pastries too. They serve by the slice or take the whole pie home lol! While supply last of course. The restaurant is spacious and a home comfort feel. It's family owned. You see lots of nostalgic pictures like the three stooges, I love Lucy and funny phrases displayed on the wall. They done have free wifi. They have a dinner feel table bar in the back with built in stools for individual seating. They have your typical hard wood tables and booths everywhere. I love getting a plush leather booth to myself. They have a coupe of flat screen TVs showing news, sports, etc but there's no volume which is nice. The place is not too noisy and it's a family friendly establishment. It's big enough to have tables together for bigger families seating. You see people here who has been coming here for years as they hello to each other and to the staff. The staff is always friendly and when you come here for breakfast they always fill your cup full of fresh hot coffee. The menu is extensive for breakfast, lunch and dinner so bring your appetite! For breakfast, I enjoy all their omelets full and fluffy and their skillets. All come with assortment of toast or two pancakes and shredded hash brown. I enjoy my slice of fresh orange as I save that at the end of my meal. Their portion size is a pretty good size that most of the time I have to take 1/2 of it home. I also like their county fried steak with egg you get two eggs - I get it over easy or scrambled. It also come with hash brown too. I love how thick and hearty their sausage gravy is and sometimes I order a side of it and take the rest home for leftovers. For lunch or dinner time, at the table you get a basket of assorted bread, croissant, small muffins, and crackers. Individual wrapped Butter, creamers, and jellies are on the table. And assortment of sweeteners plus condiments are all on the table so help yourself. When you take out lunch or dinner they throw in a coupe of these assorted bread with your order. I like their Turkey dinner of thick slices of Turkey breast on top of two slices sweet white bread with thick Turkey gravy on top with mashed potatoes and cranberry jelly. The Turkey slices are thick and juicy and it's plenty to eat. They typically have two kinds of soups of the day, just ask. I love their cream of chicken n rice soup and mushroom soup and clam chowder. As for salads they are huge portions. I enjoy their Dear Julie salad with iceberg salad topped off with a huge helping of long slices of deli ham, carved Turkey, American and Swiss cheese, tomatoes, green peppers, one sliced halves of boiled egg, and topped with chopped green olives and yellow pickled peppers. You will for sure have leftovers...my favorite is their thousand island but it's pink from finely diced canned beets. I think they make it in-house as I can't find it in the grocery stores lol! For dinner they sometimes have specials like prime rib, baby back bbq ribs, roasted lamb, fried chicken, etc. all good. Overall, it's a place I would come back here again and again even though there are new brunch establishments opening around addison I tend to come back here again and again:)
